BugLock® is unique to Protect-A-Bed encasements. The BugLock® zipper is reinforced on all sides. This means that bugs cannot escape, not even if the zipper slips open.

Terry Cloth Fabric

Fabric is terry cloth, soft and comfortable! These encasements are meant to stay on a mattress for life, and are never supposed to be removed or washed.

No seams, pockets, or folds.

Bed bugs can hide and lay eggs in seams, pockets, and folds. Not in Protect-A-Bed encasements! Why? Because these encasements have no seams, pockets, or folds, leaving bed bugs no place to hide.

Miracle Membrane

Our encasements are bed bug bite-proof and escape-proof because the inside of the entire encasement is coated with Miracle Membrane- all six sides! Miracle Membrane is a polyurethane-based product that is bed bug escape-proof and bed bug bite-proof. Most other encasements only use miracle membrane on the top side of the encasement, if they even use it all all!

Zipper Design

Our encasements have smaller zipper teeth than other encasements. This prevents bed bugs and bed bugs eggs from slipping through the teeth.
